Discover more from Beyond the Data
According to the CDC, up to 20% of pregnant women in v-safe suffered severe outcomes.
Always read the footnotes
We’re all reeling from the implications of the ACIP’s unanimous votes the last two days, but I want to take a moment to take another closer look at what they presented, particularly in regards to pregnant women.
Pregnant women and newborn data were presented on Wednesday while everyone was (rightfully) focused on adding this monstrosity to the childhood immunization schedule. I previously posted about how severely they are limiting and manipulating the studies in order to get the desired answer here, knowingly covering up fetal deaths.
Covering up horrifying data is a consistent theme throughout that presentation, and they’re hoping we don’t catch on because we’re too distracted with their votes. They can come back again in 6 months and say ‘Well, we told you this before, you just didn’t listen. Not our fault!’ And they have ‘preliminary data’ stamped all over everything, covering their behinds.
So, after you all have read that inflammatory headline, I want to present another slide from this deck.
Read it. Then read it again.
The top line conclusion is that there’s no evidence of increased risk of negative outcomes, all is well, they are totally safe in pregnant women.
But read the underlined parts. For select outcomes, the results are not yet in. There’s no risk in what they do have final results for.
What are the select outcomes? It’s in the footnote: birth defects/infant conditions, stillbirth, infant death, ICU admission and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
So basically all of the most serious outcomes that people want and need to know about.
Then comes the killer sentence:
“About 20% have medical records requested.”
They only request records for those ‘select’ conditions. And 20% of women had those records requested.
20% experienced one or more of those outcomes. There are no more serious outcomes than those.
Pay attention to the tenses being used too. “Participant-reported data are being confirmed” as in an ongoing, incomplete process and “20% of participants have medical records requested” again, indicating incompleteness.
They know the scale of those pending situations, and yet they are claiming there are no safety signals, and are pushing any and all COVID shots on pregnant women, in combination with any other shots and ignoring any potential contraindications.
