Hi Kathryn - I tried to follow this for Montgomery County (where UD is located) and from what I see is that the CDC info is much closer to the Ohio data for the most recent data. Am I doing something wrong?

Depends on what you consider 'closer'. I just checked, and I see Montgomery County, according to the CDC has an estimated number of hospitalizations of 114, while I count a total of 74 in the Ohio csv file (only 30 of which are *potentially* FOR covid - all the rest have onset on or after admission and 'covid' is incidental to the hospitalization). That's still off by a third. Not as extreme as Franklin, but still, this should be the SAME data but it is clearly not.

Ugh. A bit of correction. It was at 23 per 100,000 for the time range of interest. It has since fallen in recent days to 21.4 which drops the estimated number by ~8, So the CDC said it had ~122 vs 74 from Ohio.
