I can't find the number (3) in the Franklin County admissions box that you show. It is titled "Franklin County actual new admissions. It's like a column is missing????
Ohhhh I understand now. One more question: I don’t believe you told where you got the “actual new admissions.” I want to be able to direct people to do this same exercise for their own state/county.
Is it possible to do a FOIA to get the definition or algorithm on how the CDC is creating the estimates?
Part of me wonders, in a perfect world (unlike the crazy one we're living in with whatever motivations), did some programmer not test their product and/or made a mistake that no one caught.
The way the CDC has acted through all of this and that the numbers are SO different from each other, I am sure the CDC higher ups are fully aware of this, they want it this way.
I checked the data for my county, Sandusky. The CDC estimate for hospitalizations is 15.8 in the last seven days. According to the ODH, since July 27 (last 7 days), we had 3. Wow, good math!
Sandusky County had 6 hospitalizations in July (the last one in June was 6/23). Only 1 of the six had an onset date prior to admission, and it was 1 day earlier. Five of the remainder were day of admission onset, and 1 was the day after admission.
Which indicates to me the people were not sick with covid when they went to the hospital, they were tested there and were positive. I would also guess that most of these might be ER visits, but I can't say for sure.
Also, we have 2 hospitals in the county. One is affiliated with the Firelands system in Sandusky (the CDC has our area as Erie, Huron, Sandusky and Ottawa I believe). The other system is part of Promedica out of Toledo, but none of that is part of the CDC area. Doctors in the county are split between being Promedica doctors or NOMS (which is the Sandusky area). It's an interesting split.
The centers of deceit and control are Openly stupid 😂. They don’t even hide it . Went to a soft opening of a new restaurant yesterday. Place was packed ! Everyone was laughing and having a great time . Some were talking about the last two years . Bottom line answer , NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY SUBMIT TO ANY OF THESE LIES 😂😂.
I am very worried about University of Dayton and them attempting mask mandates for the students. They've already been sending letters to parents and students that seems to suggest they are paving the way to masks and other repressive restrictions?
Any change you can help me with data I can send tot he Parent Leadership Committee and the President of the university before they start?
Commercials against Nan Whaley should pinpoint her love for masking. Dayton was the first city in Ohio to mandate them in 2020, well before Dewine's action. She would make us more like NY and CA than FL.
Yes - I just did a FB live last night with a few great volunteers walking through exactly the steps you can take to look at Ohio's data and the CDC's and that massive disconnect. Start banging that drum and asking questions, because that disconnect is what is *entirely* driving the mandates popping up now. I just posted it here to at https://kathrynhuwig.substack.com/p/beyond-the-data-8-7-22

It's a counting exercise in Ohio's Franklin County data. There are 3 entries.

Check out Katherine's tutorial on how to get the data. There's a link embedded in this article that goes to that one.
In order to look for Ohio, you can follow this quick tutorial: https://kathrynhuwig.substack.com/p/how-to-access-the-csv-data-file-and
I will try to do a video walkthrough of the entire process soon too
I need IOWA (not Ohio).
Yikes, unfortunately I'm not familiar with other state's data and how to get at their data. Ohio is what I know intimately...

You even had an 'onset' AFTER admission. COVID the severe disease is nowhere to be found

Encouraging 🙆♀️
Thanks ! I have always tried to educate myself . Use logic and common sense … it’s evidently disappearing in this society 😄
Our reps in Washington need to have you testify at a hearing and start shining national light on this absolute horrific nonsense.
